We got a lot of snow at the beginning of last week, but luckily it melted in time to climb during the weekend.

Sunday we were stupid enough to try and go to the anvils and cross Oak Creek even though it was super cold and high from all the snow melt. I stumbled on the way over and one of my shoes flew out of my pad and slowly drifted downstream out of my reach till it was lost into the abyss. I was pretty psyched about this and having to walk around the rest of the day with only one shoe. hoooray!
